You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be!
Just like the seasons change throughout the year, we go through seasons in our lives. We have seasons when things are going well. We have seasons of immense change. We have seasons of grief, loss and pain. We have seasons of growth and seasons of rest. When we think about it we’re always in a season. It’s important that we honor our season.
I was getting in my car this morning heading to the office. It really hit me that this is my current season. I won’t always be in this season because as seasons always do…they change. This is a perspective that I’ve had to evolve to and make peace with.
In my greater vision, I’m a full-time entrepreneur, writer and speaker – traveling all around the world on my mission to be of service. Although I would love for that to be here today and right now, it’s not my current reality and I have to be okay with where I am now and trust that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
I want to encourage you today that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. You’re not here by fate, by chance or by accident. It’s all on purpose and for a purpose. No matter what you’re telling yourself or what you may believe.
We may not always understand why we’re in our current season or what the season means. Because often, when we’re in the thick of it we can’t see the beautiful reflection. Yet we can always choose to be open to the lesson, opportunity, or learning and trust our journey.
So, I’m choosing to believe that even as an employer there is purpose and meaning in where I am right now and more importantly the woman that I am today.
Often what causes us to question our path or where we are is that we’re comparing our journey to someone else’s journey. Or, we’ve convinced ourselves that we should be further along or we should have more.
A part of honoring your season means being grateful; appreciative of where you are today. Showing gratitude and counting your blessings. Remembering that even beyond what you can physically see…things are already moving and aligning for your next season.
